Before the Dehydration
This 300 year old Georgian listed building has been meticulously refurbished over several years under the guidance of a local architectural practice.
The roof has been rebuilt and the drainage system has been redone. Despite of all these actions the lower basement of the building did not dry out, rising damp kept damaging the decorations and the building fabric.
The owner of the building came across the Aquapol system on the Listed Property Trade Show in London and after a detailed dampness survey an Aquapol system has been installed and the permanent dehydration of the building has commenced.
